CLIENT : S-Mart Grocery Chain LINK : Invision Walkthrough
To help provide a more convenient experience for customers, S-Mart Grocery Chain wants to use crowd-sourced shoppers to gather groceries and have them delivered to the customers' homes.
Come up with a solution on how S-Mart can implement crowd-sourced shopping and develop a system for the customer and shopper to communicate with each other while groceries are being gathered.
Develop the branding standards and create an app that can be used as a resource to shoppers that will assist shoppers connecting with the customer as well as shopping and finding items in the store.
We identified who our primary users of the app would be to figure out who we would want to target.
We began our research by doing phone interviews to learn about current shopping habits. We wanted to make the experience much easier and convenient for consumers.
My team and I created an app model to flesh out the flow of the app. This included the on-boarding, selecting a shopping list, seeing a store map, and finalizing the shopping order.
I developed a series of wireframes to show the hierarchy of information for each slide of the app. Here you can see the on-boarding process for a new user.
We developed the brand identity, and then created multiple versions of prototypes. Once we chose a design, we did rounds of iterations to improve the interface, checking the design on phones and doing user testing to check for usability and efficiency.
